Technically, there are no longer rules that say an corporation can't hire a white person. relatively, however, the regulations that decision for an corporation greater a given variety of blacks, asians, hispanics, etc. do make a regulation banning too many white workers. those rules are stupid. They have been created to eliminate discrimination, yet have purely extra desirable it. How can or no longer it quite is declared that a place is an "equivalent threat corporation," whilst they hire a black person to fill a quota as a replace of the extra constructive qualified white person. by the way, that does no longer recommend all white all and sundry is extra constructive qualified for jobs than blacks, inspite of the undeniable fact that it quite is basically an occasion. I, as an occasion, am a white guy. as a results of fact of all the "equivalent threat" rules, i'm relatively extra discriminated against than many human beings. in the past you click the thumbs-down button, examine on. My college of decision is the college of Texas at Austin. the college prides itself on variety, and so it quite is extra sturdy for me to get into the college (inspite of a competent SAT score, and a 4.0 severe college GPA) than it could be for someone of a distinctive coloration (or maybe a white lady) to get into the college. those "equivalent threat" rules are stupid, and that they only sell discrimination.

Actually I do. Basically my whole town wouldn't hire a black person. I live in WI. The last time a black person was on the street about 5 years ago they had things thrown and spit at them. And old women yelling out racial slurrs. It is that way for anyone of miniority race here. Unless your family dates back in my little one horse town you aren't welcome here. Even if you are white.

My family dates back over 150 years. We are widely known in this town and only the elderly have power. Even if you are the mayor the old people and rich old people have complete say and everyone bows down to them.

And you enjoy chasing after people who do not like you, do you?
Where is the emotional intelligence in that?

The world does not owe poor people a living. Employers do not run successful businesses on charity.

Yes, Oprah is rich and powerful. But she is not rich because she is black, but because she is a compassionate soul and an excellent communicator.

I'm sure they exist too, but I can assure you that is not the norm. I'm certain there are also black employers who wouldn't hire a white person, but again, I doubt that is the norm. I'm saddened you feel that way. I wish you knew what was really in the hearts of MOST white people; I'm sure it's contrary to what you probably think. I'm even more saddend that I could never convince you of that...

You have an interesting bio...very cool.

My father is white and my mother is black; she used to be his maid, so yes, I guess a white employer WOULD hire a qualified black person.

I have noticed that very few of the employees at Wal-Mart are black.

The greeters always seem to be your atypical Midwestern senior citizen type.

Racism and intolerance are apparent in every race & religion. Unfortunately, I do believe blacks are more likely to face racism than most other groups.
