I think he should come back for two reasons 1. He brings in good money that the team could really use and 2. Even though everyone thinks he takes steroids, it would be really nice to have # 756 here in SF, so I think the Giants are making a huge mistake

God...the whole Bonds debacle is getting old really fast. OK. as a Giants fan, I'm kind of glad that he isn't their #1 priority right now, and here's why:
-He's too damn EXPENSIVE!!!! Plus can we even consider him taking the risk of him getting injured like he did the '05 season? Plus how do we know he's gonna hit 20 or whatever homers? I mean, with the whole steroids thing goin on, not to mention his age, can really take a toll on a player, no matter what their skill level may be.
We should really be using that money elsewhere, such as getting some good starting pitchers, now that we've lost Schmidty. And a few extra bats wouldn't hurt either. All in all, if the Giants want Bonds next year, let em. Although he's most likely gonna be DHin somewhere in an AL team..no clues where that me be though.

Taking into consideration that he is getting older, has lost a couple of steps in the outfield, is generally considered a crybaby, and he has that whole steroid conspiracy thing going, I'd say that the Giants should do nothing but expect him to head off to some other team.
In my opinion he should head for the greener pastures of the AL, where guys who can hit don't have to do anything but DH.

Good for them. Bonds is a big spoiled cry-baby. He's one of the most selfish player. Everything is and has always been about Bonds and nobody else. Didn't he throw a fit when baseball decided not to celebrate his "accomplishment" for passing Ruth on the All Time Home Run list?

Any money bonds brings in, he wants to take out in a massive contract.
I don;t know of SF should sign him, I really don't, but i know this. They should not sign him for a large contract.
He does not help them win, he is a distraction, and helps them in the long run not one bit.
If he comes back, it will ONLY be about #756

Bond...James Bond...No idea why 007 is associated with the Giros, but who would want Barry Bonds' gigantic head and back acne in the clubhouse. The guy's head could explode at any moment. That's scary, kids!

Superdork, you can't blame him for that. I would have done the same. He beat out Babe Ruth for second place, thats a huge accomplishment, steroids or not.
