Whistle-blowing is when an employee reveal the wrongdoings to outsiders particularly the authorities. Consider a colleague who plans to reveal to the government about the malpractice in the organization. As a friend and a colleague, you know the consequences to the person and to the well-being of the company. Assuming the malpractice involves misuse of power and status for example the requirement to pay extra money to "facilitate" or "expedite" certain processes.

I'd be joining the colleague. Why would you want to work for a company that charges illegal amounts of money to do what they are already getting paid to do,All this does is jack up pricesm and lower YOUR wages.
