I got a set of earrings at the Irish Fest here in Indy last year. I was immediately, helplessly drawn to them so I made the purchase without even knowing what they were. I asked around and no one has ever been able to tell me. The only way I even found a picture of them on the internet was through a little number written on the back of their packaging. That's been all I've gotten except some small input on the looks from a local charm shop. They felt it looked Druidic in origin because the figures are male. And of course the triple spiraling figure, and the fact that there are three figures is a given. But, I was wondering if it was at all familiar to any of you, and if you could let me know more about them.

I have the picture here on my computer and would be happy to send it through messenger or e-mail. Thanks so much!

Well, the triple spiral figure is pretty common in the Celtic culture - though most of them are zoomorphic (animal figures.) For the most part, it's not the animal in the spiral that's important, but the spiral itself.

The fact that the figures were male - I'm not certain why they felt that it made it Druidic. Druids were both male and female, so.... ::shrugs::

If you've got a link to the picture, I'd be willing to take a look.
