It seems like an attempt to sketch a dream. It consists of doors, sea, signs of 'exit' and 'entrance/enter.'

The observer's or dreamer's perspective is that from the 'exit' door by the sea. Was he/she attempting to go back through the exit door or was he/she merely looking back? Was he/she trying to go in through the backdoor (exit door). I can't tell. All I can say is that the sea is not in a very pleasant 'state' which one would want to escape from. There's an expression of helplessness but perhaps a tinge of hope in that sketch. Judging from the strokes, the artist may just be a kid. I may be wrong.

To me it looks as though the artist is confused. The image of the exit being closer to the front implies it would be easier to leave or quit than it would be to search for a new answer which is suggested by the N E door in the distance.

The parachuting backwards letters and what looks like a game card suggests confusion as well as risk. Also demonstrated by the choppy waters below the mountains.

The little house looks to me to be lost in all the confusion and not such a safe place to be.

That's my take on it anyway.

I think it might be some kind of mapping device someone has made. To bury something or discover something
