I need some sites that talk about cowboy myths, like how they've been portrayed in film and media, and how it's different from how they really were. I can't just use random facts because I need a works cited page and all that crap, so I need sites. Does anybody know of any? Oh and it's cowboys of the 1800's not today, any help will be much appreciated, lol

Try typing in "Cowboys of the 1800's" in a search engine. There were several sites when I did it just now. There are also lots of stories in "Cowboy Magazine" if you can get a copy of it. That's a great subject for a paper, it really gripes me that very few people in Hollywood know what a "real" cowboy was and still is. Good luck with it, I hope you get an A.
