What are the hot games right now for Playstation 2? On my Christmas shopping list, I have a 40 year old male who likes combat or racing games and a 21 year old male that likes the sports games. Please don't answer get them a Playstation 3 because that is not an option.

Burnout four - revenge (but this has been out for a while)
Amazon will list the whole new releases in section i.e racing and sport and it's cheaper than the shops.

well, I don't know about NEW games but I can recommend all my favorites...for sports games i HIGHLY recommend FIFA or preferably Winning 11 (those are soccer games) and Madden (for football)....and for combat, well Splinter Cell-Chaos Theory is an awesome 1st person shooter game (if he likes covert agency killing missions) and Grand Theft Auto (either Vice City or San Andreas) are awesome games for releasing anger lol, as for racing the only worthy one I know of is Gran Turismo (3, preferably)....these aren't NEW games but they're amongst the most popular whereas with new games you run the risk of buying a potentially lame game :)

i'd go with guitar hero 2 or final fantasty 12 for racing i'd have to go with the first answer Need For Speed: Carbon

Split the difference and get justice league..It has fights and speed and superheroes transcend the age-barrier. Walmart and Toys-R-Us have it for $40.
