Are you HS senior or junior?
if senior, there is nothing much you can do now since the college applications are due soon.
if junior or lower, you can start preparing. get a prep book, study guide, do the practice test from the official SAT study guide by college board, read through the SAT discussion forum like collegeconfidential.com, and eprep.com
just do your best and you will do fine
also consider ACT, it is another good option

I am sorry that the exam didn't go too well.
An exam is like real life. There are challenges and a limited amount of time to solve them. There certainly will be more challenges than can be solved within the allocated time.
Success in life will depend upon choosing the challenges you can overcome and solving them before you run out of time. Unfortunately, some select challenges that are just too great for them and waste time attempting to solve them, while not realizing that there are other challenges than can be as rewarding but you haven't gotten to yet. It's the same in an examination.
Next time, get to know your strengths. When you receive the examination paper, concentrate and solve the challenges in your areas of strength first. Once you are done with them, then work on the more challenging questions.
Good luck!

i might could say Houston winning replaced into the main suitable one. I propose Houston have been given smoked by making use of the Jets on their own residence container, and that i assumed they have been achieved. yet with the Jags and Titans dropping, and in keeping with possibility even the Colts...that could make Houston one million-one million and possibley tied for first, 2nd being the worst. Tenn is now 0-2 and has some artwork to do...or not...Chris Johnson blowed up and confirmed he can carry out a little element, yet Houston blowed up much greater winning this interest offensively. The protection desires artwork in Houston. you do not basically enable a a hundred and eighty rushing overall performance who additionally had 80 yards receiving and 3 TD's altogther from ONE guy. THe run protection is going to fail miserably, and Houston's front seven is a few distance puffed up. Houston i don't think of will do sturdy this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, and this replaced right into a rival's interest, making them prefer to win... The Saints blowing out the Eagles 40 8-20 replaced into impressive. 3 passing TD's, 2 rushing TD's, 2 FG's, or perhaps an INT back ninety seven yards for a TD is amazing. Drew looks like the real deal choosing aside the protection for a touch over 3 hundred yards. He already has 669 yards and 9 TD's on the 300 and sixty 5 days...he's projected to have 4,683 yards and sixty 3 TD's at this cost lol. i recognize the Eagles have been with out QB, yet guy, that doesn't propose the protection could roll over and play ineffective! 40 8 factors! that's undesirable, the Eagles have been embarrased at homestead and Brew Brees is calling sturdy. understand has achieved 669 yards polishing off seventy 5.5% of his passes for 669 yards, 9 TD's and easily 2 INT's...rather sturdy in case you question me.

One thing that is important to understand is that there's a "trick" to taking the test fast. Rule out answers that are obviously wrong. This will usually narrow it down to two. Do enough "figuring out" to try to rule out one of the remaining two answers. Don't actually work the problem until you get a right answer. The test is not about getting it right -- it's about NOT getting it wrong.
Same goes for "guesses" -- don't waste too much time waffling over which guess. If you can rule out the two obvious wrong answers, you have a 50% chance, and it's better guessing if you have ANY idea whatsoever.

My son is a senior and took it in October for the first time then again this past Saturday. Its a good idea to take it twice so that you get an idea of how its laid out. He said it was shocked also because of the time limit. He said he didnt finish a single portion of the test in its entirety. Just remember, you get points for what you answer, not points taken off for what you dont

Well, its too late to do anything. I hope that you misspelt "PSAT' otherwise good luck. I have never taken the SAT but the PSAT experiences show that there is really not enough time for it if you didnt' study, blanked, or just simply got a test that was harder than say someone else.
If your really pissed at the limited times given for the SAT tests, I really think you start a petition, group or anything to convince testmakers or school administators to give more time for these Doomsday tests.
