Is there a scientific reason?

It's very pretty. Especially with bright red lipstick. I prefer dark hair against fair skin, but a pretty blonde with big blue eyes can be stunning. One thing I have noticed about blondes though, is they are not typically stupid. See? I'm a brunette and I can't even answer your question!

I have often wondered the same thing ... Although I am proud to be a brunette.
My best friend is blond and gos after all the guys .. literally stalks them .. while im the more relaxed type .. Maybe thats a reason why? Not a scientific reason but anyhow .. Blond girls pursue guys more eagerly than brunettes?

the leading theory is that during the ice age blond/blue became more selected for because in a sea of brunettes it was different- like brighter plumage on a bird. Also, blond/blue men tend to prefer blond/blue women (scientific study) because it is easier to determine if their off spring are theirs or not (brunette men seem to have no real preference. And obviously two blond/blues can't have a brunette/brown child). Of course, tribal africans (before colonization and blond/blue being equated with power) probably really didn't want that in the jungle/desert. And in russia the preference is red, actually. I'm pretty sure in russian the word for beauty and the word for red are the same thing.

I do not think people prefer blonde hair and blue eyes. I have blonde hair and blue eyes and I am not more nor less preferred than any other hair/eyes color combination.

The only people that prefer people with blond hair and blue eyes are people with blond hair and blue eyes.

I think for the most part, our eyes are attracted to lighter more brighter colors first, so blondes and redheads would get attention first. Unless you are the type who is just more drawn to the dark brunette mysterious type. Everyone is different.

No. Not everyone does prefer blondes with blue eyes. I like brown hair and brown or green eyes. Every individual is different.

That's old. They used to prefer that but not anymore. That's before people knew the disadvantages.
The sun is very bad for blue eyes. Blue eyes and blonde hair is a sign of a lack of melani in the skin

I personaly have brown hair and green eyes but i don't know why peoople prefer blonde's probably because of their stereo type of having more fun and being ditzy.

People do whatever's "in fashion". Personally, I prefer brown eyes and darker hair, they just seem warmer, you know?
