I am naturally a large-chested woman (36 DD-DDD), but the rest of my body is unproportionally smaller (31 waist, for example). My shoulders and torso look great in off-the-shoulder sweaters and tanks, but there are no strapless bras that will hold my girls up. I have an excellent corset-bra that I wore under my wedding gown and I love it...the only problem is that it makes my breasts look awkwardly pointy (I prefer a rounded bosom). Any tricks that I can do to either adjust my current corset bra to make my breasts rounder, or any other tips that would help? Thanks

Haha....I call that "twin torpedos". I believe someone referred Madonna has having those in some gold bra she wore.

My bustier I wore under my wedding dress did the same thing and it was a 34C. They usually are made that way so it pushes you up more...I can't understand it either. What's even dumber is a website described the bustier I bought as having a "natural shape" to it...

I'm not sure if they have these in your size, but have you tried the bras with the clear straps? Although they seem like they would break more under pressure from larger breasts.

I did find this one from Lane Bryant and they have it in your size. And it looks like it doesn't have the pointy look to it either. http://lanebryant.charmingshoppes.com/pagebuilder/lane_bryant_product_page?item=8209918&pagesize=3

And here were some more convertibles. http://lanebryant.charmingshoppes.com/pagebuilder/cacique_thumbnails?cgid1=79&PAGEID=1604&cgid2=688&cgid3=&cgid4=&CGROUP.SHOPSIZE=

I do not advise you to go to VS, as I don't believe they even carry your size. You would only get shrugged off by them, I've had it happen before (trying to find my size for a tiny back), and most of the associates who work there are snobby girls. I also don't believe you need to be sized. If you know your size and you know what fits you, then that's all you need. Plus, stores don't factor in your shape when it comes to sizing. They just assume every woman has the same shape with the same round perky boobs.

Unfortunately my only advice would be to go to a department store and get professionally fitted for a bra. Once you get fitted you will probably have to try on a million different bras until you find a style that looks and feels the way you want. I know what you mean about "awkwardly pointy" as I also don't like that, but since bras vary from style to style, you'll just have to find "The One" and get one in every color

Get professionally measured to get the correct size and then perhaps try a minimizer bra
