Since Australia have scored 513 runs in the first innings and as England has got a lead of only 38 runs, the match is heading for a draw unless England collapse dramatically in their second innings.

They should but after today with England 70 or so runs infront with a day 2 go, I would LOVE to see England declare and have a crack at the Aussies in a One Day style of game.

Declare when 250 infront or with 50 overs left in the day and have a crack.

3 things could happen.

1. Australia's One Day stars come out on the test arena and kill it

2. England destroy Australia's top order and claim the win

3. Close game but a draw.

I would love to see that happen. Give the derserving Adelaide crowd a great day of cricket!

It's definitely not in Australias best interest to play for a draw. They MUST go for the outright win.Sure,England will still be one down if this test is drawn but then they only have to win one of the remaining tests to retain "The Ashes'.Australia should go for the win then they can wrap up the series early in this wonderful competition.Remember England will retain "The Ashes" with a drawn series.

I guess there's no other choice other than a tie.

England is batting its 2nd innings on the final day of the test while Australia batted only 1 innings.

Otherwise, to Aussie fans, that is a great idea to keep England trailing by 1 test in the series.

Its in both teams intrest to call the game a draw, theres nothing that can come from it and it would be stupif and reckless to try and force a win
