As for as urination, a catheter is inserted into the bladder, and surgically sewn in place, or the catheter may be placed at the end of the amputated penis site, directly into the urethra, or further into the bladder. Several variables would come into consideration, the ultimate decision would be between the unfortunate male and his physician as to which procedure would be most beneficial and safe.
