I like Iran because they don't suck up to the American government.

Your government has vowed to destroy Israel and the United States because you think that the two of us are the root of all of your problems. That makes liking Iran a wee bit difficult.
I don't have a problem with the people of Iran necessarily. I have two friends that are from there and a third that is of Iranian descent. Of the three of them, they're all glad to be here, and never want to go back.
Cubans are very much like that - nice people that hated where they lived so much that they won't ever return as long as the oppressive government is still in place.

I do not know about the people of Iran, but the government is an enemy of the United States, so I do not like them.

I used to, but don't care much for the government. It is a bit odd, that a recent student protest was violently quashed by agents of people who came to power through student protest, and was hardly covered in the news. Some of the people that I am acquainted with are good, likable people.

I don't know, because I have never been there. I don't really have anything against the country itself, however. I am curious to see what people from there think, especially about the iranian govt.
