You could wax at home, with the strips you buy at the drugstore. I use this Nair kit that works well. I just use that for my outer bikini line in the summer, and then I use an electric razor to just trim up the rest of it to a shorter length. I know what you mean about shaving, it's extremely uncomfortable for a lot of women. That's what I like about the electric trimmer- I don't even have to touch my skin with it, and I can trim it shorter without making it so short that it grows in uncomfortably.

it's not nessary per say but it's more of a choice. The hair around and on your private is natrual so i don't think is matters but if it is bothering you maybe a wax would be alright don't be scared all the waxers are professional and payed for what they do so make the right decisons and get some more info before you decide!!
I hope this helps!!!

you do not have to shave to stay healthy "down there" in fact according to a book i have read it can make you more susceptible to catching something form your partner. The pubic hair also acts as a natural lubricant and makes sex more comfortable. I think the reason you get itchy is ingrown hairs and irritation from shaving to the sensitive skin down there.

no of course not. Any guy that wants or "requires" you to is messed up. There is nothing wrong with a little bush. You may want to as others have said just trim it a bit now and then and in the summer just shave from the crease of your leg out so it doesn't peek out of your bathing suit.

According to medical opinion that I have come across, it is better to trim pubic hair rather than to shave it or wax it. Shaving apparently makes hair grow coarser and thicker. However, one should keep the pubic area clean by washing it daily. What matters is what you are comfortable with, not what others do or like.

Pubic hair is a protective barrier for the private regions. If you shave it you are not doing any direct harm, but the hair does help to keep out harmful bacteria. To me, I think trimming is the best way to go, but I suppose that doing whatever you think suits you is the best thing.

No, it's not necessary to do that for health reasons. It's more of a personal choice.
I read in a magazine once to use solid deoderant to prevent ingrown hairs / razor burn. If you think about it, you put it on your underarms and it helps there, so it would work "down there" too.

No, you can be hairy and perfectly healthy. In fact, shaving can irritate your skin and cause ingrown hairs. Try just trimming the hair if you don't want it long.

shaving isnt necessary, like, my girlfriend does it because she's more comfortable that way for her, but if you're not comfortable, then you dont have to, and your partner can't make you either, but, if you really want to be rid of it, you can get laser removal or electrolysis, look em up

shaving is not necessary! Some men like it , some don't care. Some gals like it, some hate it. Do what feels best for you!
