okay this is an unfinished job. my friends already have the carpet, padding, and the kicker. however the only part left is a square foot hallway and about eleven pie shaped steps, but these steps are very narrow. they start in the kitchen leading upstairs to the bedroom. what is a fair price for this? where can i find out more info? please help, my friend is having her first baby and she is due at the end of december of this year!

The only way you will find out is to get estimates, which will depend on the actual conditions of the job. We can't help you.

A rush job at this time of year will almost certainly cost more than doing it later when the carpet layer can work it into his schedule.

you need to figure out how big the area is by figuring out square footage length times width. then it depens on the type of carpet does it sell by square foot or by yard.

i bought a 12x12 piece of beautiful carpeting at a steal. i'm going to get it installed by empire. i need to have some carpet replaced any way. i'll ask them.
