You know the Fatman Santa is a fake, but you go along with it anyway, as you lie to your kids and make them future liars to their own kids.

But the Dictionary of the Bible says that: "By the 5th. Century, the Church (of Rome) had concerned itself enough to have set December 25 as the date of Jesus’ birth. This had been the date of the Festival of the Sun God Zeus and to the Christians a greater light was come, Jesus Christ, the true light of the World".

The Winter Solstice gives us the shortest day in the year, Dec. 22, as the birth of the new Sun, so Rome shifted it to the 25 December in order to celebrate the Circumcision eight days later, on 1 January, in accepting Jezeus Christos as the Living God risen from the dead.

Is Christimas really just like Santa Claus?

Did Christmas come through the chimney like Santa, with sockloads of toys?

CHRISTMAS IS LIKE SANTA CLAUS!
The Dictionary of the Bible says that: By the 5th. Century, the Church (of Rome) had concerned itself enough to have set December 25 as the date of Jesus’ birth. This had been the date of the Festival of the Sun God Zeus and to the Christians a greater light was come, Jesus Christ, the true light of the World.

Fact is - the Sun God is Zeus, and Jesus is really Jezeus, and the Romans worshipped Zeus, and you can see Barnabas being called Zeus by the Priests of Zeus in the Acts of the Apostles 14:12-13, in the Bible. Mithra was another son of Zeus, but Je-Zeus was Zeus come down as his own son, which made him strictly a Roman God.
Sunday is also the day that was set aside for worship of the Sun God (Zeus) by the Romans.
Try some honesty this season and expose Santa for the fraud he is. Why live a lie and deceive your own kids?

The Winter Solstice gives us the shortest day in the year, December 22, as the birth of the new Sun, so Rome shifted it to the 25 December in order to celebrate the Feast of the Circumcision eight days later, on 1 January, in accepting Jezeus Christos as the Living God of the Sun risen from the dead.

Zeus and the Fathers of Christianity did not know there was a Southern Hemisphere that did not share the Sun God Zeus or his four seasons, or his twelve disciples or twelve months of the year with the Northern Hemisphere, and it is for this reason that Australia celebrates Christmas twice each year, with the White Christmas falling in June but is called Christmas in July since they know it is a lie.

So Christmas and Christianity were as ignorant of the nature of the Planet as was Santa Claus of the South Pole, and just as the Pope was afraid that Christopher Columbus might fall off the flat Planet in his attempt to reach India traveling westwards, so were Santa Claus and Zeus afraid?

Were Santa Claus and Zeus afraid to go below the Planet and into the Fires of Hell.

When Pope John Paul ii declared the Shroud of Turin a medieval fake after having it scientifically carbon-dated in 1988, he failed to point out that the Bible describes the use of two shrouds, with one for the head and another for the “body” of the 100 lbs of aloes and myrrh, the other perfect hoax.
TRUTH IN THE BIBLE IS: Zeus the Weather God and Father speaks in a voice from the Sky at the Baptism of Jesus, “my beloved son,” while the Holy Spirit descended “like a dove.” (Matthew 3:17, Mark 1:11, Luke 3:22)
Zeus the Sky God at the Transfiguration as “his his face did shine as the Sun, and his raiment as white as the light” (See Matt. 17:2)
,“And there was a cloud that overshadowed them”, (with the voice of Zeus) “and a voice came out of the cloud saying, this is my beloved son” (See Mark 9:7)
“And his raiment became shining exceeding white as Snow" (See Mark 9:3)

Lil floydie thinks he can hide from the truth as long as he pretends it is not really around.

Santa was invented to keep little kids happy with little white lies that grow on the parents and on the kids, but the Cross was designed to curse the bearers and Jesus came with the cross, while the real Christ was a free man and never made to face the Golgotha Hoax.

So Jesus and Santa are just about the same, which is why they come together for the Winter Solstice and the birth of the Weather God Zeus, which is why Australia celebrates Christmas in July and European man depended on Zeus and his flat Planet Earth, while, for all those centuries, the Church fathers and the trinity and Jesus were unaware of the Southern Hemisphere, and why Christopher Columbus was supposed to fall off the Planet on his westerly journey to India.

Hey Zeus! Get out of the Dark Ages and come to the Globe, Planet Earth, and face the Truth fearlessly 'cause Truth wont go away when you hide from it!

Go to your Bible and search it from cover to cover and you will see that NOWHERE in the entire Bible is anything ever mentioned about Christmas or it's observance. Don't you think that if Christmas were something God wanted us to observe, it would be MENTIONED in the Bible, at least in some form?

Christmas is a pagan holiday that no true Christian celebrates.

I'm not goingto dignify this "question" with an answer. Here's what this guy sent me in an email. Just thought you all should see where zuboy is coming from:
Message: It is quite apparent tha you do not worship the same God that the Christ worshipped.
You worship Jesus while the Christ worshipped and prayed to "The Only True God" (John 17:3).
Jesus and Christ are distinct personalities.
Jesus is the name Pontius gave to the crucifixion oif 2 thieves. Ponty tricked your Biblical Jews and crucified two Majestic thieves who were expecting to eat lamb for dinner that night but who ended up being a meal for the vultures at Golgotha.
May I suggest you do some homework instead of wasting time on YAHOO! 7 ANSWERS when you have no contribution to make.
May I suggest that you study The Age Of Reason with your Bible and get the facts.
Christ definitelt was not crucified but Jesus was, both of them.
You need to save yourself because Christ never offered to save anyone when he advised that you save yourself. Pluck out the eye that offends you or the brain that has been damaged from the brainwash.
I offer to help you to see but there is none so blind as he who will not see.

First of all "Santa Claus" is not a myth...well at least not all a myth. There really WAS a historical person named Nicholas who as a young child was very generous with his things...when he grew older he converted to Christianity and actually became a bishop. He did his best to see that the people he was over were all treated well and had the basics to live. (He lived in the dark ages, about 600-700AD). The 'myth' goes that when he was very old, the people in his area all prayed that he would never die and that he would somehow always be with him. It is said that God made him into a spirit...the Spirit of Giving and that, as such he is still with us today.
As far the history of Christmas...it is true that the celebration of Christ's birthday was picked as 12/25 as it coincided with several pagan holidays and was a way for early church to more easily convert people.

I don't believe that at all. I don't think that Dec. 25 is the actual date of when Christ was born. For one, the Bible doesn't say when he was born, and calendars have varied a lot since then. So I definately disagree with saying that Dec. 25 is Jesus' birthday. However, Jesus is not a myth, and the Bible says that he was born, obviously. So, even though we don't know when, we picked a date to celebrate it, and that date happened to be Dec. 25. Santa Clause is a myth, but not Jesus. Read your Bible sometime.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say to celebrate the birth of Christ. We celebrate the resurrection in remembrance of what has been done for us on the cross and through the defeat of death. There are several pagen icons that we use today to "celebrate" the birth of Christ, namely the tree. The holiday is quite made up, however the purpose of the holiday and the ideas behind it are notable. It really should not be a Christian holiday at all.
