yes you can....any time you have unprotected sex you run the risk of getting a STD...you should always take precautions when having sex at any point weather or not you're on your period.
Oh and BTW...Birth control does not protect against STD's...and a condom is not 100% effective....

You can get HIV anytime, as long as your partner have it. Period doesnt make it more likely, because this virus must be already in ur body, so period has nothing to do with it.

Yes you can. Having your period will not stop any virus from infecting you. You can catch a cold, get HIV, the flu, you name it. Menstrual blood is not an antibiotic...
