One way might be to ask friends that you really trust, what female role models they admire. Or you could ask teachers, other family members, surf the internet. Or find other forums to post this question on.
Maybe look in your local community. Who are the women that are making things better for your community?
I happen to admire and respect many female role models. Some have passed on and some are still living. Among them are: Nancy Reagan, Coretta Scott King, Florence Nightingale, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Barbara Walters, Oprah Winfrey, several teachers and one prinipal, and local community leaders.

Well I am the same way, I decided you dont actually need one! I mean it would be nice to have like an older sister, to watch and learn from. since I dont really look up to my mom! but I my case I am the older sister, I have a 10 yr old sister and a 5 yr old cousin that watches my evey move! I think you do what feels right to you!
