The France National Team and in the NBA the Atlanta Hawks for his first two seasons from 2003-04 to 2004-2005 and the Phoenix Suns from 2005-2006 and 2006-2007.
Diaw was acquired from Atlanta in the deal that brought Joe Johnson from the Suns for Diaw and a 1st round future draft pick.
Hope this helps.

Boris Diaw played with Atlanta Hawks then got traded to Phoenix, where he was given the name 3-D, for drive, dish, and dunk. However I think it talks about his 3-dimensions. Amazing scorer, rebounder, and assister. Voted most improved player of NBA, with Career highs in all three stats. Last year was the taller Steve Nash, while Nash was on the bench.

Hey Will - Diaw started his NBA career with the Atlanta Hawks but never got much playing time. His numbers skyrocketed once he joined the Suns last year as part of the Joe Johnson deal.

In the NBA he played for the fun loving Hawks and barely got off the bench. Now with the Suns he gets playing time and seems to be a good player.
