Please be more creative than "the atomic bomb", because that's the obvious answer, and you'll be lame and unoriginal if you say that

This is the saddest question I've ever seen. Erasing an original idea, damn Luddites! lol

I would erase ALL religions...
not trying to be evil, but think about it...
that would basically mean world peace...
no more of those religion wars in the middle east...
no 9/11
no hollocaust
no discrimination...

of course, religion is a good thing..it can help people find their way when they're in trouble...but then again, if you weigh the good and the bad, i find that there is a lot more bad things caused by different religions

It might be "lame and unoriginal" - but E=MC2 is first and foremost on my mind.

The only other "great" discovery that I can think of, and it raises a lot of ethical and moral questions, is cloning.

printed press and writing. or i guess ink. it would make communities closer, and the world as a whole more diverse. and no, i wouldn't get rid of the atomic bomb...the discovery also gives us some pretty nice electricity.

I would probably erase the internal combustion engine because without it, there wouldn't be cars and then we wouldn't be slowly destroying our world.
