No, two days before he resigned as defense secretary, Donald H. Rumsfeld submitted a classified memo to the White House that acknowledged that the Bush administration's strategy in Iraq was not working and called for a major course correction, plan b?.

The Democrats aren't going to have any impact on what Pres Bush plans to do with the war. He's on a mission, he's focused, he's true to his beliefs and he will succeed. You listen to everything the liberal media fills your head with and it isn't about to let you think that the war is going as it should. Ask the soliers, they will tell you. As for not being safe, as long as the demo's/libs stay out of it we haven't been attacked since or hadn't you noticed?

no...If the terrorists wanted to kill me or people like me...no president could stop them...the government could protect installations, dams, government buildings, port...etc., but I'm quite certain that there is no task force designated to protect small town America. The terrorists are after these big installations, killing people in the countryside would provoke full scale war against them. More people hate Americans than ever now

I have never felt less safe or more hated by the rest of the world. What's really scary is that the religious right who put him in office think Armageddon is a GOOD thing.

No I do not feel safe with Bush or his kind of thinking in OUR white house. In fact I question all the Congress and Senate who voted for the invasion of Iraq and continue to support it, the patriot act 1&2 and their clear violations to the 1st,2nd, and 4th admendments to OUR Constitution.

Initially I didn't feel safe with Bush because he was just making enemies with everyone. But now I feel little safer because I am getting used to it.

Look, Bush will finish out his two years and that will be that. His administration will be relegated to the trash can. With a Democratic congress, he is pretty well marginalized and will be kept in line. Soon he will be history.
