Yes a promise is a promise even then and the only reason to break a promise is if that person is in danger or trouble that you yourself can not handle.

Don't make a promise if you have no intentions of keeping them because if " SHE " finds out, that trust you had will be very hard to rebuild. Be Careful. Friends, Good Friends are hard to find.
