Both Questions and answers not appearing, violations enforced when there is no violation, emails not working, games site doesn't let many people play when they are ready to play, no easy way of reporting faults, feedback on violation notices get no reply, Beta email service is much worse than the old one (can't select all, and delete with a couple of clicks for example, every email has to be deleted individually. etc etc.

It maybe free but Yahoo get paid for us coming on the site, much like television channels get paid by us watching.

I wouldn't be on Yahoo answers if it wasn't appreciated.
But the faults never get sorted out, and they might as well not have a feedback service.

I agree about the feedback, violations and the beta email but I'm not sure about the games issue...I only stick with Yahoo and just as a matter of interest I noticed that a lot of us started up about the same time in the month of November when a link to this site turned up.

i was reported for violations twice within 2 days i sent an email back both times telling them to read the content of both my Q&A and im still waiting for a reply. I told them that they shold read the content of some of the other questions and answers before they made judgments on mine as mine were laughable in comparison.......bloody good Question by the way!

Yeah, I agree with you. They say "you can tell us about your problems concerning our service" but then you can't find a contact address and they don't reply or if they do they tell you that they can't understand what your problem is. Oh yeah and if you are reported for abuse when you commited none and you write them they wouldn't reply either though they say you have the possibility to make a complaint if you were reported falsely. Stupid.

Beta Mail sucks so I've gone back to the older system. They asked what I thought of it and had only boxes saying how much it had improved, no where at all for me to say it's worse than the old system, and doesn't look as nice.

Yahoo is like Topsy, it grew too big too fast and now makes changes without putting in proper research. I took one look at Beta and reverted. And I keep getting told I have reached my limit on Answers - what limit???

If you want to delete more than one email, click the top 1/ hold shift/ click bottom email and they will all be selected to delete.

Mediocrity in service. People don't complain enough, and big corporations make their millions anyway, so they don't bother with keeping up the quality.
In other words, they don't make 'em like the used to.
