You can only get pregnancy while ovulating. Typically, women ovulatate half way through their cycle, but occasionallly they may have an irregular month or be irregular all together. The only way to know if you're ovulating is testing cervical mucus, temperature ect.
So, yes, you can get pregnant while on your period! If it's been less than 72 hours since you had unprotected sex and if you do not want to be pregnant, I suggest taking the morning after pill aka plan b. If you happen to be Canadian, you can get this medication over the counter at your local pharmacy! Plan B is NOT an abortion medication and will NOT harm a pregnancy already inprogress. Plan B is contraceptive, it prevents pregnancy by preventing ovulation and possibly preventing implantation. (You don't get pregnant while having sex/right after sex, it takes at least a couple hours to a few days after sex!)

Yes, miss lady. That's the one time it's very easy to get pregnant. Your cervic is wide open; sperm will have no problem racing right into your uterus. It happened to my buddy a few years ago--true story; she thought she'd be fine. Of course, her little daughter was a blessing in disguise, but trust me, she thought I was yanking her chain when I expressed my shock and anger that she'd take such a chance, all so some knuckleheaded jerk could experience sex without a condom. And she claimed she was on her last few days, too. Stupid.

a women can only get pregnant one day out of the month and that day changes month by month . theres really no way to tell when that day is other then ovulation tests. and since semen can stay in ur body for up to two days its possible but not probable. don't worry about it to much but be aware.

Allow me to say...."that's gross." Why would you have sex when you're on your period. I bet your guy would go bananas if you two had sex during that time. And no you can't get pregnant
