it's a darker shade of chocolate brown. but not completely dark brown either. ive tried a sort of gold yet a little brown pair of heals. but it doesn't quite go together very well. help?

Gold or bronze strappy heels should do the trick. If not, try wearing black shoes but they have to be a different texture to your dress. so for example if you dress is made of that clingy type of material then opt for black patent or crocodile skin shoes. if you're dress is made of a coarser material then you could try satiny smooth peep toes. additionally, gold or bronze or nude/ivory tie up (sorta like ballerina slippers that go around your ankle) shoes would look nice too. if your dress is understated your shoes will have to stand out. eg. if your dress is on the plain side you can wear beaded or sequined heels to help maintain a balance.

Brown is one of the natrual colors. I know it may not look like it but it is!
Navy is a color that can be paired with any color too!
For a Brown dress i would suggest Off white or maybe a pink shoe with accents that compliment to brown in your dress.
Sometimes it's best to go with a shoe that has some color variation. Best of Luck!

A bright pop of color in your shoes could really spice up a brown dress, but if that's not your style, you could always go with a pair of plain silver sandals.

Well i wear all color shoes because iam a shoe person all color to go with everything in my wardrobe. The best color's are Carmel,tan,light coffee,muster yellow,bone,and the fashion that in this year is brown/blue,look good together.Try one of theses you just might like it.

Black goes with everything, even brown. If it is not a dressy dress you could go a little wild, like orange or lime green.

brown is a hard color to match. dont go with black or white. a dark shade of brown is your best bet.

Try gold or bronze...or any solid bright colour for a punch....I personally would choose some strappy deep gold heels.

bronze or a muted gold are often very nice. Coordinate your jewlery accordingly to make them mesh more with the dress.
