Why is your nose in it?

Tell your "friend" not to wear tight pants and to wear PJs without underwear to bed. Wash with a very mild soap in that area. Don't use bubblebath. Don't wear nylon or other synthetic underwear - or at least not in the crotch. Don't use a douche. And don't let your friends stick their face in there.

Well you're a heck of a friend if you have your nose down there. I'm assuming it doesn't smell from across the room.

Let's just say it should smell interesting but certainly not pungent. Certainly at times when she would be on her period there could be a strong odor. Not all women have this but certainly some do. Of course that's going to only be every 30 days and last for about five.

So if this is a continuous smell ….more than likely is something wrong with the flora (The bacteria that live there) in the vagina. The most common things are yeast infections or bacterial infections. Some women are more susceptible to yeast and bacterial infections than others. These you would probably have to go to a doctor or clinic to identify what is exactly causing the problem. One simple test they do is to take the pH which is simply done with a piece of paper, of the vagina. If it's too alkaline or to acid this could bacteria thriving.

Medicines for yeast infections are sold over-the-counter while the carrier which acquires a prescription.

There's something to left out like he is your friend sexually active. She could be getting an infection from her partner.

It's like that week old food in the refrigerator…. same holds here for vagina…. if you stick your nose in it and it smells bad you probably don't want to eat it.

She needs to see a doctor and have a physical including an abdominal check-up. She could have a yeast infection or even an abdominal infection. If everything is OK, then she should douche with vinegar and water, 1 part white vinegar to 5 parts of water and take a daily bath instead of a shower. After using the toilet she should wipe with a feminine wash cloth, available at the drug store. There will always be a bit of a smell but it should not stink.

First of all young Troy, you have no business near one of those things if you're not able to spell it. The correct spelling of that word is "vagina". And, the reason your friend area probably smells is because there is something going on within her body; that she may need to seek medical attention for (ex: yeast infection & sexual diseases) and, maybe even you (if u have had sexual contact with her). Often times if u don't wash that area thouroughly this will cause odor to build up (I recommend a gently cleanser like Eve's body wash). There are lots of reason why this odor exist.......just know that if you are sexually active.

Be aware that there are alot of sexual diseases out here and always protect you as well as your partner. Because, these are life altering decisions that we make - when we become sexually involve with another human being. Know just by kissing you can contract something, and alot of young people think oral sex is safe because the risk of becoming pregnant in not there. But, you can catch a lot of worst stuff that way. Be patient and wait for marriage.

You do know you can google this word and find alot on it but here is a site u can share with your friend - showing a female how to care for herself & u can click on "vaginal infection" to learn more about it.

Maybe she has a urinary tract infection. That can cause an odor. She could have a yeast infection, which in itself doesn't smell, but the creams used for it do. Whatever the reason, she needs to wash more often, like each time she uses the bathroom. She should also see her Dr, it may be something very bad and waiting could be very bad.

Maybe a yeast infection, maybe get her to check out a doctor. Or tell her to wash herself more carefully. They aren't supposed to smell like roses

When she goes to the bathroom to take a dump she may be wiping the wrong direction.Back to front instead of front to back. Her snatch may be full of corn.

i would suggest going to a doctor, but is it that bad that you can smell it?

but being serious, try cleaning it it might be a sign of infection, and as someone else said try seeing a doctor.

good luck
