Extremely Pathetic. Notre Dame sucked eggs in the games they played against good teams this year and only has a good record because they play all the service academies(except the salvation army).
I can't wait to see Lou Holtz predict that they will win big and then have LSU blow them out by 40.
Some good might come out of it though b/c everyone will see how bad they are and maybe Charlie Weis will walk to the game and lose a few pounds. Did anyone else know they made 7XL adidas Sweatshirts?

Pathetic or not, Notre Dame draws HUGE TV ratings nationally, all those Roman Catholics. And that's what the BCS bowls and FOX and ABC want, HUGE TV ratings for the BCS bowls.

The only reason ND is going is BECAUSE of Wisconsin and Auburn, only 2 teams from a conference may participate. ( Florida / LSU and Ohio St / Michigan) check your BCS rules.

Blatant pandering to a has-been program. Wisconsin was much more deserving. Wisconsin had only one loss to the #2 or #3 team in the country (depending on whether you listen to Urban Meyer's whining or not).

Its pretty bad however not as bad as Michigan getting screwed. BCS just needs to disappear and playoffs need to start happening. This just shows it!
