What an absolute travesty that the country couldn't deal with two big ten teams playing for the title. . . first USC jumped ahead of Michigan and now Florida. . . for shame. . . . enjoy your blowout championship game you idiots!

look, the SEC is by far the best conference, the Big Ten is the third best. Bo Schembechler and Lloyd Carr themselves said before the game that there should be no rematch because its not fare to the winning team. should you be arguing with Bo on this???? Florida is #1 for strength of schedule this season, and there only loss was at Auburn on a botched call. Michigan had there chance to step up in Columbus and didnt. Go to the rose bowl, win it and enjoy yourself. I am a die hard OSU fan, and i love the Big Ten, but Michigan got the game they deserved. Sorry.

plus, he is twice the coach Lloyd Carr will ever be.

The 2 best teams will be in the game.. Ohio State and Florida.. Floridas going and deserve to and here's why.....:

Offensive TD's Scored:
FLORIDA - 44
USC - 43
Michigan - 41

Average Yards per Play:
FLORIDA - 6.51
USC - 5.95
Michigan - 5.64

Top 25 Defenses Faced:
FLORIDA - 5
Michigan - 3
USC - ZERO

Losses to UNRANKED teams:
USC - 1
FLORIDA - ZERO
Michigan - ZERO

Losses to Top 15 teams:
FLORIDA - 1
Michigan - 1
USC - ZERO

So it must be a problem with our defense, you say?

Scoring Defenses:
FLORIDA is #4 Nationally (allowing 12.3 per game)
Michigan is #9 Nationally (allowing 14.6 per game)
USC is #13 Nationally (allowing 15.1 per game)

SO...

The University of Florida has scored more Touchdowns than USC or Michigan... gained more yards per play than USC or Michigan... all against much tougher defenses than those faced by USC or Michigan... and has a BETTER DEFENSE than USC or Michigan...

When did it become more important to earn these "style points" (buzz word for what a team that the media wants to put #2 has and a team that the media doesn't want to put #2 does not have, whatever it might be) than to play and beat good competition?

Michigan is going to THE ROSE BOWL... the MOST watched college football bowl game in the nation!! For me this is THE game of the year. The tradition is there... the memory of great college football championships are there and the Wolverines will conquer USC. We'll see OSU next year at the BIG HOUSE (minus Troy Smith... thank goodness!). GO BLUE!!!

as a true ohio state fan, i can agree with you on this one. granted, i do like the fact that ohio state is now GUARENTEED a national championship, but its the emotion leading up to a game that's the real excitement. beating michigan in the regular season was an accomplishment because they put up a good fight. i'm not saying that michigan would have won the title if they were to play for it, but i def. would have liked to see a rematch. michigan def. deserves to be #2. BCS=a mockery of college football

Don't be mad at the Buckeyes. They beat Michigan. The other teams that jumped them screwed Michigan. They got voted ahead of Michigan. They didn't have to beat Michigan to get their spot. The people say that the SEC is the hardest conference in the Nation. I don't agree. I wonder if the people voting used those voting machines they used in florida in 2000.

We'll see they play the game on the field. But from what I've see the "big ten" doesn't have the athletes to compete. Watching their games on TV is like watching an SEC game in slow motion.

Michigan had their chance to play OSU and blew it. The 2nd place big ten team doesn't deserve to play in the championship game.

Go Hogs Beat Wisconcin.

THE MICHIGAN GAME PROVED THAT THE ONLY TEAM THAT CAN BEAT OHIO STATE THIS YEAR IS OHIO STATE. IM THINKING THAT MAYBE THIS YEAR ITS BOISE STATES CHANCE TO MAKE THE BIG TIME. IF RUTGERS REMAINED UNDEFEATED THEY'D PROBABLY HAVE GOTTEN A CHANCE. OH WELL........ IM A BUCKEYES FAN.AND WHAT MORE PROOF IS NECESSARY TO DECIDE THAT A PLAYOFF SYTEM NEEDS TO BE INSTITUTED,

GOD BLESS
