Which Nintendo is better to buy, X-Box 360 or PS3?Why?

Umm... I think by 'Nintendo' you mean 'console', so ill answer it that way.

The Nintendo Wii is a more family-oriented system. It has a pretty sweet unique remote controller & the Nunchuk. It has some fabulous Nintendo games like LoZ:Twilight Princess, etc. It's also cheaper than the other 2, as it is only $249.

The Xbox 360 has 2 packages: $400 & $300. It has decent hardware & some good games which are better for the teenagers & up.

The PS3 is $500 & $600, and it has some incredible hardware. Verry good processor, plus a Blu-Ray disc player. It has a pretty cool SIXAXIS controller, and some decent games. Its expensive, but worth the cash.

First. Games. Microsoft has been picking up all the rookies with a lot of potential while Sony has stuck with it's companies that have made great games in the past but are old and need to retire. The most relevant example is SqaureEnix. They made some of the greatest games ever, but they can't keep up with the younger generation's needs and wants and will suffer dearly for their inability to keep up. Sony will be plagued by this in the future and Microsoft will pull ahead as it's picking up the younger, more fresh players while Nintendo will continue making kids games and games that are "fun," which will keep them in the race as much if not more than Sony.

Second. Reliability. Ps2 had more problems than any fan would admit. Ps3 has be enduring many, many problems in it's first few weeks of release. Granted 360 had a number of problems in it's initial release, Ps3 still should look better than this.

Third. Capabilities. On a scale of 1-10 for total game graphics, sound and playability, the consoles rate as fallows. Wii 5-6. Xbox 360 8. Ps3 8.5-9. They're really isn't much difference between the 360 and the Ps3. Xbox has a rich online community that Ps3 will have to copy to keep up. Wii's online allows downloads of old NES and some Sega games. Plans for Nintendo 64 games are in the works for download able content.

Ps3 has Blu-ray and if you believe that's the future of DVD then you'd be better off buying a Ps3 than a Blu-ray player as the Ps3 is about $200-$1000 cheaper than a player.

360 has a HD-Drive that you can purchase for $200 and if you believe HD-DVD is the future then there you go.

Wii has no DVD support.

Wii is the cheapest system and it would be "fun." Nintendo has always been a parent friendly system and is great for younger kids.

Ps3 is the most expensive system($599 for the top system,) and would be good as a Blu-ray player.(If you want to argue the hard drive, you can buy a USB drive for XBOX and have more space than Ps3 and still be cheaper.)

360 is the ladder and has a much better set up over Sony and Nintendo. Games are great and you can expect a lot of exclusive games from 360 in 2007.

Get a 360.

By the Nintendo doesn`t make Xbox or PlayStation 3 they make crappy console aka Wii.

The PlayStation 3 is going to have the best technology outer all the 3 console. Is going to destroy the Xbox 360 & Wii because the graphic are in full 1080p and we are getting a high tech next gen dvd player. The PS3 is also compatible with every PS1 & PS2 game also you gonna be able to download music movies right from the PS3 market place and the PS3 is going to bring a built in web browser. Also is gonna have a huge HDD 20/60 gigabytes you gonna be able to connect Memory Sticks SD Cards and another one i forgot. We also getting Linux pre-installed on the PlayStation 3 hard disk drive that means you gonna be able to create your own application like video codec, audio codec or games. The PS3 is gonna have free online play with downloadable content. The Xbox 360 only has a mini hard drive with 13 gigabytes available for you to use. Also is not free you gotta pay for playing online and downloading content too. Xbox 360 doesn`t have a web browser or Linux. And is not %100 compatible with the original Xbox. And Wii has basically nothing new but the price. Wii has no DVD drive, no card reader, no hard drive, no HD graphics. Nintendo has nothing good to offer. That`s why the PlayStation 3 will always the #1 video game console.

First of all to get things straight the 360 is by microsoft and the ps3 is by sony. Nintendo's new console is the wii.

I would either go for a ps3 or a wii.

1. PS3 - It is said to have the greatest hardware in a video game console yet. I agree it is costly but if you think about it you could play blu-ray movies in it if you have an hdtv and has free online multiplayer games. I know that it does not have a great line of games right now but within a year great gams will come out. Just like the 360. Sony is also working to fix problems so you can play ps1 and 2 games, dont worry about that. iSupply wrote that sony is losing over $200 on each console sold and a blu-ray player right now costs about $1000 so its a great deal.

2. Wii- It has the best innovation compared to the 3 consoles. It has motion-sensing capabilities so your actions are transformed to the screen. I have played the wii and let me tell you its the most fun thing you could do. even my friend who hated video games wanted to play it after I showed him how it worked and he actually beat me in tennis in wiisports (he has never played a video game console before!!!!) I promise you once you start playing it you will not stop.

Okay 1st Nintendo didnt make the Xbox 360 or PS3 .Nintendo has made the Wii.Sony made the PS3 and Microsoft made Xbox.
Now

but the one im getting for christmas is Xbox 360

the nintendo wii is the better buy, because the nintendo wii is acually the cheapest, but it cant do anything else but play games and do what was built into the system, like web browsing, or other things. The XBox 360 is over priced because it can play DVDs and music, and XBox live is an extra $50 a year. the Wii cant play DVDs but Im pretty sure you have a DVD player around your house. and the Playstation 3 is EXTREAMLY overpriced. I say this because... well... IT SUCKS. it cant really do anything. it dosent even have a very good media center on it, and the games suck. I would say if you are looking to play games, get the Wii, or if you are loking into your digital media, and O.K. gameplay, go for the XBox 360.

I say X-Box 360. It's not as expensive, and still has great games.

P.S. For future reference, Nintendo is a seperate company from making the PS3 and X-Box 360. Nintendo made the Wii

OK of course PS3 because the new ones have something called a blue ray it is from Sony and when you watch a dvd it is HD(high definition) also it has a very fast speed of loading things and very high quality, also they are not from nintendo but the blue ray is a very good point to buy a PS3, hope it really does help

The wii might kick this **** out of both the PS3 or the 360 due to the virtual reailty thing.

nicely, in the experience that they have got been requesting a 360 for a at the same time as then why might want to you get them a Wii? at the same time as convinced the Wii is extra "relatives oriented", and persons might want to be quick to guage the 360 for having violent video games, yet in case you get your little ones something they have not quite been wanting, you may want to get some wondered faces at 6:00 contained in the morning on Christmas day. at the same time as I see no challenge with the 360, as long as you opt for what video games they get, finally you should make certain what you imagine is ideal on your little ones. wish this helped -Nick D
