Why in hell don't you just tell him to have a J.Arthur before he goes to sleep - most young blokes do it, so why shouldn't he !

Wet dreams are a normal part of puberty, and it makes sense that some people would have more intense ones than others. Don't do the plastic sheeting thing, he'll be really embarassed. Instead, let him sleep in his underwear, who really cares if it gets messy? It comes out in the wash. Maybe you should have a talk with him about masturbation. Whatever you do, try not to instill a feeling of shame for your son. He needs to feel good about himself and his body, not that he is gross, or that he needs plastic or rubber sheets because he's bad.

And honestly, you shouldn't have to clean the mess. Explain to him what it is, and make it his responsibility. He'll have some control over the situation.

Wet dreams are the body's way of getting rid of old, pent up semen and sperm to make room for the new. For 98% of men, this problem is solved through masturbation. Dirtying up some underwear is a lot easier to clean up than going through the process of getting plastic sheets, not to mention the embarrassment. Have you considered teaching him to do his own laundry? The dirtied underwear may be easier to handle if no one else has to clean them.

my little brother whent through the same thing so what we did was that plastic sheets its not the fact that he has a wet dream or drinks to much its just that he is afraid to get up at night try having a couple of lights on going to the bathroom have an alarm set up for about 3:00am so that u can wake up or he wakes up at night and goes before its to late and dont put him down about the whole thing cuz that will affect him just the plastic sheets dont help trust me it may keep the bed safe but theres a down side its realy uncomftorable so just let him know u will be there to help and dont make it sound like its a problem either........

I reccomend that you go to the doctor and explain the situation. he can prescribe a pill that prevents "leaks". But just incase, don't embarass your son by buying him "special" sheets. THere are also some types of "dipers" that are made especially for this thing. But if worst comes to worst, then just use a garbage bag. it is cheaper and easier to change.

You could just put old towels on the bed and change them over when necessary , much easier than washing and drying sheets all the time ..

i wouldn't be very comfortable sleeping on plastic, especially at his age. Try just teaching him to do his own sheets, this will might also lessen his ebarassment of you having to clean his messes.

Leave some porn mags out where he'll find them. He'll relieve the pressure and learn more about women.

Sorry to lower the tone.

Maybe you need to discuss masterbation with him. Explain its a normal human thing and many men do it. Maybe then wet dreams wont be such a problem!
