No matter what age you are, when your time is up, regardless of health issues, or anything else, its up! The hardest deaths to deal with are always unexpected. They are the hardest to accept. The only thing we must keep in mind, is that, when we pass on, we actually go to a better place. People that have passed are fine, WE are the ones left behind that grieve, and are miserable, they are really feeling bad for US, that we are so miserable because of their death. If that makes it any easier on you, I hope I helped some. We are really feeling bad for ourselves because we miss not having them around. They will be with us again when it is our time to go!

hi,
death is everyone's end.... most of the people deal with death very scared.. but for me (as a Buddhist) death is just normal to ours if we do good to our friends, family, acquaintance, even the people we are in need.... because i think that you will have a deal to death as a normal situation

deal with it as in getting over it?
because if thats the case most people dont just get over the death of someone
they have to learn to accept it
sure its hard but in time(and lots of it) you will learn to accept it
it took me over a year to realize the my grandma wasnt comming back
she used to go on a lot of vacations so id just say that she was in europe or just anywhere and that she would come back
and that the renters in her house were just house sitting until she came back
i used to call her house phone to listen to the answering machine
but its been two years and i have finnaly accepted the fact that shes not comming back

it's different for every person but my best advice is let yourself feel what you need to whenyou need to and how you need to. Honor your feelings wherever you are at and don't let "I should be over this" thoughts deter you from your own process.
Find people you trust to share what you are going through. Journal. Do things to keep the persons memory alive. Be gentle with yourself and love yourself through the grief. Part of life and we all get through it in our own time and our own way.

we try to live our lives as normally as possible and eventually time will deal with it. attending the funeral to say goodbye also helps.
