We lost to the number one team in the country by 3 points on the road!!!!!!!

Florida lost to 10th ranked Auburn!!!!

Florida won their confrence but where in the rulebook does it say that you have to win your confrence to play in the Champioship game!(plz point it out if it does.)

Now you tell me that we are not deserving? Really if you were a Michigan player how would you fell considering the above statements?

Posted this yesterday - but this might be why:

These rankings and polls are too tough to decipher. Say Ohio St. bit it a few weeks ago agains a bad but improving Illinois squad (Ohio St.'s closest game of the season other than the Michigan game) If Illinois had won that game, we all would have known Ohio St was still the best team in the country...but would we still have slotted them in the National Title game?

I think Florida deserves to play in the title game. Florida is 12-1 and has won the SEC, which I believe is the most rounded and challenging division in D-1 football (Big East a close second.)

The total W/L of teams Florida has played this season is 72-43.
Thats a .62608 win percentage...thats #1 in the NCAA in cumulative opposition.
The total W/L of teams Michigan has played this season is 77-47.
Thats a .62096 win percentage, thats #3 in the NCAA in cumulative opposition (I remind you about 1/3-1/2 of those 77 wins is with ND (#24 in Cumulative oppostion rankings) OhSt (#39 in Cumulative opposition rankings)and Wisconsin (#85 in cumulative opposition rankings))

In my opinion, Florida is 6-1 in competative games. (W's vs. Tenn, Kentucky, LSU, Georgia, SCar, and Arkansas - Loss vs Auburn.)
Again, in my opinion, Michigan is 4-1 in competative games. (W's vs. C.Mich, ND, Wisc, and PSU - Loss vs OhSt.)

A very long and detailed answer, but after USC lost today I wanted to know for myself who I thought really deserved to play Ohio St. in the Championship.

My opinion, Ohio St. vs. Florida in the National Title game.

Ohio St - 35 Florida 31

OK first of all Michigan and Florida have great teams. But Michigan lost to Ohio State in the regular season so its not fair to them that they would ahve to play a team in the championship they already beat. What would happen if Michigan did go and they beat Ohio State? There would be a huge controversy and that would totally screw Ohio State over.

Plus Florida has the hardest schedule in the nation and not to mention they are in and WON the hardest confrence, the SEC, in the nation. And again Michigan did not win there confrence, the Big Ten, the Buckeyes did. So it should be the 2 best teams in the nation who won there confrences!!! Not Michigan and Ohio State who are from the same confrence and Michigan did not win that!!

So get over Michigan fans you cry babys!!!

Florida won their conference and michigan already has had their shot at ohio state in the regualar season so there was no way they were going to get another on in the title game...stop crying, your team was 3rd in the nation so i would be happy if that was my hokies...so tell all those players to get over it and they should have won when they played osu no matter where they played or how much they lost by if they were the better team they would have won!!!

you're pathetic....i think you've posted 10 different questions about this one issue....guess what...no matter how many times you post a question florida will still be playing ohio state for the championship...and if you don't understand why, let me explain it to you...and please take a minute and let this sink into your thick head

-Michigan played weak teams
-Florida played tough teams
-Michigan lost to OSU already
-Florida lost to Auburn...who was ranked number 2 at the time thank you...and they lost bc of a stupid call...otherwise they'd be 13-0 too and clearly in 2nd
-Michigan came in 2nd in their conference
-Florida won their conference...which happens to be the TOUGHEST conference.
-Michigan is going to lose to USC which will prove how unworthy they really are

THAT....my friend...is why Michigan is not deserving

Dang...I hate Michigan...but even I am left scratching my head on this one. Nothing about what transpired in the last 24 hours makes sense. Their is just no way that Florida should have leap frogged into the # 2 spot.

Heck...they beat a team yesterday that they were FAVORED to beat. How is that impressive enough to move them up 2 spots (especially when they would have remained # 4 if USC had won)?

The kicker is...if USC had won...and Florida and Michigan met in a bowl game...Michigan would be the favorite.

Wow...the BCS got it wrong badly this year.

I don't get it either. the same scenario happened a few years back. Florida State played Florida toward the end of the regular season and then they had a rematch in the national championship. Why was it ok for them and not for Michigan. I'm from SC but I'm with you. Michigan is much more deserving. Ithink there's some politics involved.

Because SEC is the hardest conference in football. Michigan only played weak teams except for Ohio and they lost that one. Move on and lose to USC. LOL

We are most certainly deserving... but, hey, we are going to the ROSE BOWL! And it's the Rose Bowl that has hosted the BEST teams. It's the Rose Bowl that has the tradition to support college football in all it's glory. We are going to the ROSE BOWL the most watched game in college football across the country! And we will meet up with OSU next year at the Big House. GO BLUE!
