Slow released, age and biological specific birth control substance deposited in the water supply to target male and female human beings aged 12-18 years of age. Sort of like a Siphon Filter contraceptive.

I agree with momma. I got pregnant at 17. We did not use protection and we were fully aware of the consequences. We didn't care. Most teens that get pregnant do it regardless of what their parents say. My mom even took me to get on birth control. We have an open relationship and I can tell her anything. That didn't matter and I still did it. The only way to stop teen pregnancy is to sterilize them at birth. Not a very realistic plan.
I just wanted to add after seeing some other answers that I had a dad in my home. He is a great dad. And none of my kids dont have a dad. We are currently still married. And very happy. I attending school and graduated a week before I had my daughter. I went to sex ed... I GOT PREGNANT BECAUSE I WANTED TO. Had nothing to do with parenting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No there isn't...
No there can't be..
Each person is different what works for one teen won't work for alll others... The best we as a society can do is educate our children in birth control including abstenance and other forms and hope for the best...
With all inclusive (not just absetnance or birth control but education on both and percentages of failure of each) education comes the best results in reducing teen pregnancies.... It's not a 100% solution but a reduction is a step in the right direction so education is the best answer we currently have....

Are you ready for this. Get a half dollar coin. Tape some paper to it that says birth control!
Have the teen place the coin on the inside of there left knee, and have them place their right knee over it. There ya go.
I know that is not a serious answer, but I just could not resist.
Now for the serious answer, I do not believe abstinence works.
Unless while attempting to practice it, birth control is also used, or kept real handy.

The symptom to the problem is teens getting pregnant, the problem is, their aren't enough involved parents. When your not talking or educating your kids, even more when your so consumed with issues going on in your own life that you neglect your children your going to continue seeing pregnant teens. If kids have nothing to do, or nowhere positive to spend their time their going become more curious about actually trying things, like sex and drugs, etc. You have to talk to your kids and not just when they bring it up in their teenage years, no, you have to start young, age appropriate, but still young. Also theirs not enough men in the home teaching their daughters what a relationship means, or how a boy should treat a girl. And when a young girl whom is fatherless meats a boy that shes interested in, she looks to them for that male affection. See the problem is the parents, a kid gets there first modeling from the home, and if the home ain't right then the kids are just going to imitate what they've learned. And if there not learning, then guess what, we wind up with pregnant teens and more fatherless babies!

I don't really think there is honestly. Our society is horrible when it comes to pregnancies. Meaning young girls who haven't even experienced life yet, are responsible for another one. I don't think abortions would work. As I and so many are against it. Maybe stronger learning systems for sex, but there already are. I think our society is too far gone to fix all of this. Though I wish it could be.

i think your question could have been put in a better wording but there isn't much you can do except talk to your kids and help them under stand every thing has consequences and kids will have sex even if they are not ready just make sure they feel safe to talk to you about condoms and the pill!! you can not tie them up so help them understand and help them be safe!

Sure is... DON'T HAVE SEX!!!! That's the only way to 100% stop teen pregnancy. However, since it's unrealistic... scaring the crap out of teen to make sure they use all the protection there is offered to stop pregnancy AND STD's

I think not. For if it were illegal, it would be all the more appealing to them, and if they all were forced to go on birth control, then there would still be inevitable accidents, and it would violate loads of human rights- I think that all we can do is be there for those who get trapped in this net, and be better parents to the next generation so that this doesn't continue.
