Putting your child in childcare doesn't make you a bad parent. That's non-sense.

Will you be clearing significantly more money a month by working? Consider commuting costs (gas, parking), work clothes (the basics), lunch at work, and childcare costs.

How much will you actually "take home" a money after those work expenses?

What part of the country do you live in? If your in Wales contact your local authority who have projects set up to get people back into employment and help with childcare costs and give advice on working family tax credits and child tax credits. If you live outside Wales just contact the Inland Revenue for advice on how you could be better off. Good luck and don't listen to the idiots who tell you to stay home and look after your children. It's personal choice a happy mum makes happy children. You do what you know is best :)

You have to work at least 50 hours a week to fund day care for just one child. Wait until she goes to school, and return to work part time.

Yeah don't spend too much time with your kids. They need exposure to the outside world.
