So we can crash into the parking lots of malls like Sherman marching to the sea. And then gain entry like the combined amphibious assault force hitting Omaha Beach on D Day!
And then we hit each and every aisle with the tenacity of a highly pissed off group of Navy S.E.A.L.s looking for a brawl. Just to get that special person in our lives something of value.
So that when we see the happiness it brings that special someone. We can kick back knowing we did our best!!!!

Because it makes buying gifts easier. There are fewer choices, and it makes the decision process easier. Plus, we are waiting on clues as to what people want for Christmas, and sometimes the clues are contradictory. One year I had to exchange a gift for someone three times between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve because the clues were vague.

this is a generalization. My brother, has already bought all of my family's christmas presents. It's me, the female, who always waits till the last minute. I think it's a procrastinator thing, not a gender thing. I think i saw more women than men last year (FYI).

We're different...instead of examining everything 100 times and spending 5 hours deciding, we decide what we want to get BEFORE going shopping, we grab the first thing we see, get in line, pay for it!!!! Out in 3 minutes!!!! (OK 6 including finding parking)

They probably cash in on last minute bargains. Also women salespersons love to help men shop.
