Im getting really discouraged?

Question

Im pretty good in school but this one lab report is KILLING ME. Im supposed to have 5 pages of background info i only have to and i have only answered 5 out of 21 questions. Ive been working ALL day. I dont get half of the quesitons and we cant put ones together in a paragraph so i keep repeating things and it sounds really dumb
im really discouraged
can you offer me any advice?

and i still have to do like 2 loads of dishes and laundry(chores) and 3 pages of math homework

my mom has wicked high expectiations my first semester in high school i got 2 bs and the rest a's and she told me i should be trying harder i works for hours each night

the thing is this is something we were assigned all week but we also had another assignment due that i spent hours on every night and then an assignment in another class that i spent at least an hour a night on so i didnt have time to work on it so if i tell her i didnt get it she will give me crap about it and we have a big test tomarrow that we need to use it for

i know ill be up untill at least 11 to finish it

First of all, your mom needs to lighten up. You are working hard enough. Why doesn't she get off her azz and help you with your homework? Is she watching TV? What kind of grades did she get in high school? Are you Asian? (You can tell her I said that and my email is available on my profile)

If you are having difficulty understanding your assignment, you should speak to the teacher. Explain the problem exactly. Go through the list of questions one by one. Ask the teacher to clarify each question. Take notes. Be sincere.

Stop working for a few minutes. Walk away from the assignment and try not to think about it. Don't let pressure from your mother cause confusion, frustration and stress. Take frequent short breaks while working. Your brain is learning, growing, evolving and solving. It is not always a process that you are conscious of.
It will continue to work silently and efficiently in the background while you take a break.

You are in high school, not prison. Learning should be fun and interesting. Life is not meant to be a struggle. It should flow with effortless ease. It's not the end of the world if you get a "C".

If you have answered 5 out of 21 questions and have 2 pages of results, then it sounds like you'll have 8 pages when you have finished answering all 21 questions. Relax! The other students in your class are struggling too.

Do some breathing excercises, breathe in deeply, slowly and exhale slowly, do it for 5 minutes. Don't let your mind wander to anything else other than your breathing, your mind will the be refreshed, good luck

were you paying attention int he class? Is there another student in that class taht you can call and get advice? We are ill-equipped to answer for you. . .

um,think when its all done,you can sit in front of the TV with hot chocolate and sip away without any trace of worry that you havent got it done.thats what i do.i worry about not doing it so I do it and get on with my life.As for the help,search on yahoo,and re-read the chapter skimming for the data of the particular question.

You should really talk to your teacher about this. If you don't get the work then you cant possibly do it. Just go up to your teacher and tell them your not understanding it and I bet they will help you. Good Luck!!!! :) hope this helped!
