Would you rather have another shot Michigan than play Florida?

Why?

-Do you believe Michigan is the second best team in the country, and would like to play the second best team in the National title game?
-Would you rather play Florida because they are another talented program who if you beat, would help prove you are the best team in the nation?

Ohio State and Michigan is a HUGE rivalry. For either team to win 2 games against each other in the same season is probably near impossible. If Michigan had won the first meeting, they would NOT have wanted any part of a rematch for the championship game. A rematch this year would have only benifited Michigan and been unfair to the Buckeyes. Besides if Michigan did make the national championship game this year and did win, you couldn't realisticaly crown them the champs. They would have only tied the Buckeyes season. Maybe co-champions, but that is all. The NCAA does not really have a championship game, no college Super Bowl. They only have a bowl game that is between #1 & #2 so there could be a chance that Michigan could win by say 1 point and Ohio State could have still remained #1.

The Buck's beat Texas which was a NO.#2 team in week 1. Then we Beat Michigan which was a No.#2 team. (1st time a team beat two #2 teams in a year) and Now we get to face Florida a No.#2 team. The Bucks already beat Michigan for the Big 10 titile. Another good reason. Is OSU never played Florida Gators.

I do not aggree we need to play Florida to solidify that we are the best. That is proven. We already beat two No.#2 teams. The Big 10 has 3 teams in the BCS top 10. On the other hand, Florida needs to prove that they deserve to step on the same field with the Big 10 champs O.H.I.O State Buckeye's.

Although the score is what matters at the end of the day, there are other aspects of the game that matter. Ohio, in my view, dominated Michigan almost the entire game that they played. For Ohio to prove that they are the best in the nation, I would have liked to see them beat both USC and Florida (before the debackle at UCLA ofcourse). Ohio has already proved that they can man handle Michigan for a large chunk of the game and end it with a winning score.

Let Ohio beat Florida in order to prove that they are the best in the nation. Please forget this nonesense about number 1, 2 WHO CARES. I want to know who the BEST team is. Michigan has already lost to one of the final contenders and is therefore NOT the best team in the nation.

This is a hugely imperfect system, but I am very glad to find out that we will atleast end up finding out if Ohio really is the best team in the nation. If they had beaten michigan a second time (which I believe they would have done), I would have still wondered if they could beat Florida. Everyone slams this Florida squad but they have played the TOUGHEST schedule in college football, and have in my eyes earned a shot at the title.

OSU followers are the worst. they only save going and going and touting how super their group with a loss to an unranked opponent is. I want they might take it like a activities fan and understand their run for the championship is up and unfold some like to different deserving communities. My group replaced into terrible this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days so i've got thrown some help in the direction of different ones that have not gained modern-day titles.

I'm sure every Ohio State fan feels good about playing Florida, since they will beat the Gators by several touchdowns. While Michigan on the other hand just ran out of time against OSU.

Not an fan of either team but looking at the responses everyone has given anyone who knows college football should know it would have been a great game on neutral turf.
Congrats to the buckeyes on their national championship!

UM is the legit #2, but OSU already proved they can beat them. Florida deserves a chance to get beat by OSU, also.

I'm sure they are breathing easier that they aren't getting Michigan because they know they can stomp Florida.

I guarantee they wanted to play Florida because they are pretty much guaranteed the national title

I think I will go with the Gators, they would be easier to beat from what I've seen. Also it would be considered a 'home' game for OSU. Once you have won the BCS who cares what people think?
