Definately, Lennon, he is a legend! Although most people can also appreciate Dylan's contribution and worth. Someone mentioned earlier that it was Dylan who inspired Lennon, be as it may, but it was Lennon who went on to become the greater of the two.

Bob Dylan . Look up his lyric site and wonder, 40 years of genius.As a matter of fact it was dylan who inspired Lennon and others to write about other things than the normal pop tripe. Of course its ok to think they are both great like i do.

I would have to say Lennon. Although they both wrote political songs, no one made people want to take action more than Lennon, that's why he was such a threat to the American government. Plus, his songs are just better in my opinion.
