I love the ASCD (Association for Supervision and Curriculum Design). Your membership includes an annual subscription to Educational Leadership magazine and (depending on where you live) free entrance to their Pro-D events. I've been a member since September and I've already been to two Pro-D events. You can also start a student chapter on your campus if you're interested. I'm not from the USA but I'm assuming CT is Connecticut? See the link below.
