If u helped someoe with their career and regret it what do u do?
i helped someone with their career (through encouragement) and they are doing well. without my encouragement they wouldnt be that far. it makes me feel bad now all the time. cos this person is so big headed and thinks there better than me and i regret encouraging them. wish i never did. no appreciation either.

Just be glad in the fact that you know and so does he, that he wouldn't be where is unless YOU helped him.
He acts so bigheaded, because he didn't do it on his own.
So now he has to puff up like a Blowfish, otherwise he gets no attention.

What do you want to do about it? What can you do about it?

You don't say if this is someone you work with daily who needs your help, or a neighbor, or a friend. Approaches might differ depending on this person's position in your life. A coworker you might need to be more diplomatic, but a neighbor pr friend you could simply begin avoiding.

Define the action you want of the person. That will begin to inform the kinds of reactions you could undertake when the person is being big-headed.
