first of all, I agree with all those who said they are incomparable. But, if I have to choose, the symbolism of the statue of liberty is what I would go for, but what should not be forgotten is that statue of liberty was a gift of the french to the americans to celebrate their struggle for independence and to symbolise the spirit of liberty, fraternity and independence that both those communities shared during those times.
But, one should admire french artisans/engineers of that time for creating both wonders

Well, they're both made by the French... but I'd say SoL, purely on aesthetic appeal and how it would take more work to that because of the intricacy. The Eiffel Tower is a big metal tower, though, while impressive, is different from the SoL.

both are equal in artistic work and beauty. the statute of liberty is french made as is the eiffel tower. until the events of 911 changed things in the us lady liberty stood as a beacon of hope happiness equality for all.

Eiffel Tower is much nicer to go up in, and one gets a much better view from it.

The Statue of Liberty because it's suppose to be around in 2000 years when apes rule the earth.

statue of liberty. it was actually meant to be a symbol. i've been told that the eiffel tower was actually built to be a radio tower and before it became a national symbol, scheduled to be torn down. i wouldn't rely on that imformation because i heard it once on the tv and it was during a commercial

That's like comparing apples and oranges. You can't say one is better than the other. The only similarity they have is that they were built by the French, and that they're tall.
