That's a great website, Nebraskam. There's a quote from (Michigan grad) Arthur Miller's renowned play, "The Crucible."
"He has his honor now."
We Michigan people retain our honor, our high standards of deportment and sportsmanship. Lloyd Carr's behavior, and lack of lobbying and cowtowing, was admirable.
This Florida decision can only help to bring down the lamentable BCS system. The sooner, the better.

No I think Michigan and Florida are both very good teams. But even though I am a huge florida fan, I think Michigan had their chance to beat Ohio State and failed to do so.
If they would have won then you wouldn't be complaining because Michigan would be in the national title game.
I'm not for sure if Florida will beat Ohio, because Ohio is a very good team. I do hope though that Florida will win.
I just think that Michigan had it's chance to be in the national title game, but they loss. So I think that another team should be able to challenge Ohio!

OK first of all Michigan and Florida have great teams. But Michigan lost to Ohio State in the regular season so its not fair to them that they would ahve to play a team in the championship they already beat. What would happen if Michigan did go and they beat Ohio State? There would be a huge controversy and that would totally screw Ohio State over.
Plus Florida has the hardest schedule in the nation and not to mention they are in and WON the hardest confrence, the SEC, in the nation. And again Michigan did not win there confrence, the Big Ten, the Buckeyes did. So it should be the 2 best teams in the nation who won there confrences!!! Not Michigan and Ohio State who are from the same confrence and Michigan did not win that!!
So get over Michigan fans you cry babys!!!

Florida has more questions about their team than Michigan by far. Every article I've read not from the state of Florida says that Michigan would win a match up against the Gators. Let's count all of Floridas close calls this year: blocked field goal against S.C., jump shot to win against LSU, one point win at Tenn. When you hear Urban Whinner talking about how his team finds ways to win he really is saying that his team is weak.
If USC had won Florida would have stayed right where is was.

If Michigan did LUCK out and beat Ohio State, there is no way you could call them national champs. They would have only tied Ohio State's season record and they also had a loss to the Buckeyes. At best you could only have co-champions.
Michigan had their chance and BLEW IT! You don't have any right to whine.
