Another good one!

First, you need to understand that
log(x^y) = y*log(x)

In this case, sqrt(0.1) = .1^.5
So log(.1^.5) = 0.5 * log(.1)

Now, if by Log, you mean log (based 10), then
log(.1) = -1
So log(sqrt(.1)) = .5*log(.1) = .5*(-1) = -.5
