it came with a bolt on yoke and i was wondering where could i get a slip yoke so i can insert my driveshaft ?



its a bolt type yoke on the end of the tailshaft of the transmission
and i need a slip yoke instead to fit my 383 chevy.

You should be able to get one at about any salvage yard or places like summit racing sell new ones

If you do find a slip yoke for it you will need to change the output shaft assembly as well. They used 2 different shafts for the different yokes.

Output shaft is not designed to use a slip yoke.you will encounter problems if you try this.

A local trans shop may have one laying around. just call around then hit the junkyards if you still can't find it go here and use the junkyard service (90,000,000 parts)u.s.a. and canada http://painintheexhaust.blogspot.com
