it is normal, for some women they leak slightly for years, others it eventually tapers off, just keep some extra nursing pads around or tissues to help prevent noticable accidents.

Hi there. I breast fed my daughter for 17 months, and I was still producing milk when my son was born 3 1/2 years after she was. I've finished breastfeeding him now, and I've still got milk.
If you only have a little bit, and it's not really affecting anything, just ignore it. If it's enough to cause any problem, there are natural remedies that will dry your milk up quick smart. Ask at a health food store, or see a naturopath.

IM SORRY, but I do not have an answer yet to this, my PRIMARY reason for posting a reply tho', is that I TOO, have this problem. My son is 13 months and I still produce milk. It's only one side, and its not alot. BUT, I just wanted to let you know that there was someone else out there that was seeking an answer TOO. We should pry get to the doc aye?! LOL.

Yes it is normal to be able to get a little milk out after that long. I thought it was weird when I had that happen to me after my first son. It was 2 years later and still had a tiny bit. I guess it just never fully disappears for some. I dont know. But I know now that its normal.

Its normal, but not necessary..
You have to keep pressure on your breasts at all times... that means, if you are not wearing a bra at night, your breasts will continue to produce small amounts of milk. wear a sports bra at night, a nice fitting one in the day.. for like 3 months, or until you squeeze the nipple and nothing comes out...
