Ok, I'm going to be boring here. I would resign (naturally), but I would still give 4 weeks notice. I wouldn't like to leave them in the lurch and I don't have a bad relationship with my bosses.

I wouldn't tell them how much I've won though, I don't think I'd tell anyone except really close people - I can imgaine every moocher crawling out the woodwork!

I have pictured this scenario in my head so many times that I've got it down pat - yup, I'm a daydreamer and an eternal optimist.

$33 million on 31 December - that's mine!!

Tell him the truth. Because, it was probable the money from your pay check you use to buy the ticket or pay for the stamp to mail in your entry. Why shove it in his faces he still is going to have to go to work everyday to make money. And if you haven't had any problems why start any with him. Plus I keep it on the qt as long as I could so I wouldn't have every Tom, Dick and harry coming out of the wood work for some of it until I decided what and were I'm going to do.

Love these questions as I'm a daydreamer!

Right! I would walk in and let him speechlessly watch me as I close his door behind me and sit on the chair opposite him. I'll say: "Can I have a quick word?"

He'll probably say: "I'm busy just this moment and I would prefer it if next time you knock and wait until I give permission to let you sit there!" in his little anti-social way.

I'll then say: "How much do you earn, tw@tface?"

He'll probably say: "I beg your...Right, that's a written..."

I'll obviously interupt: "Shut your mouth! I have more money than your wife's had lovers! I've just bought this company so you can now f*ck Off and don't come back you daft sh*t!!!

Why?

I'd still show up to work, at least for a few weeks and give them 2 weeks notice. If I got bored at work, I could quit any day. It'd give a whole new meaning to "work", and if I didn't like something I was doing, I could find something else to do.

My boss would just get a postcard from Aruba. I'ld have the concierge fill out the card for me... something short and sweet.

Tell her everything she has done to screw up the place in the past five years, then hand her my letter of resignation and exit singing "Permanent Vacation..."

I'd just tell her that I quit.
There's no point in freaking out or doing anything outrageous, I don't want a lawsuit to eat up my winnings.

I would tell him he is fired, as I just bought the company and made my first executive decision.

"you know what, i'm not putting up with your crap any more, no amount of money can keep me working here" (if you hate your boss)
