a box below the answers that lists religious questions? Do you think it's some kind of subliminal message?

After you answer this, scroll back through and read the answers, at the end of the answers, will be a box showing other questions that you can answer. They are all always questions in the religion section. What is up with that?

I've noticed that too, but I'm pretty sure it's not intentional.

The questions that appear in the boxes are picked from the list of most recently added questions and recently resolved questions. They are different for each question and they change. If you leave the question then come back to it, the questions that were there the first time either aren't there or have moved down to show a new question.

I had just added a detail comment to one of my questions in this section and your question appeared on the bottom in the "Open Questions" list along with a a question that ask "How can gays call themselves Christians?" (something like that), I don't remember the other two.

When I clicked on it the first time this question still appeared (even though it was already open and on the screen) in the "Open Questions" list along with the "... call themselves Christians" question, but they had moved down one slot a new question appeared at the top and one of the old questions dissapeared from the bottom.

I clicked again on this question in the bottom of that screen (opening your question a second time) and it was still in the "open questions" list only now it was at the bottom, the other old question (the other one of the pair I didn't catch) had disappeared, the "... call themselves Christians" question was third, the new question from the previous screen was now second, and a new question now appeared on top.

So from what I can tell the list are just updating as new questions are asked and old questions are resolved. Though it appears that there maybe a conspiracy to put religious questions on the list as a subliminal influence, it not the case. If you take a look at the total list of questions in this section religious-based do appear, sometimes there are serveal non-religious-based questions in beween, and sometimes there are several religious-based qustions close together.

Its possible that you are entering around the same time a lot of these religious-based questions get posted so they appear more often in the "Open Questions" box because they are the most recently added.

Well.. i have no idea what you're talking about. Sorry, maybe can you kinda explain a little bit better/ re-wrd the question? It might be.. but it's just the way the site is set up..maybe.
but God loves me anyhow. even if i'm a bisexual, or whatever the heck these people call it. because it's not up to humans, and it's not up to humans' interpretations of the Bible.
it's up to God.
therefore, i don't worry about religion. i don't know. and i know that you didn't ask my opinion, so sorry for giving it.

but a "yes" or "no" seemed too generic

I think it's a feature of the software used to relate questions from different categories. Because we get a lot of haters here abusing bible quotations at us, the software used to figure what 'similar questions' would be pick up on bible references and link to the religious questions.

I've seen it before on a few forums that use 'relational software' to target advertisements. On the threads that get into religion or politics, the ads are all for religious based stuff like online bible stores. But on threads that are about makeup or 'passing' tips for transgendered people, the ads link to various tg sources.

It seems to just be pulling up questions from the "Society & Culture" category. A lot of the questions in that broad category are from the Religion & Spirituality section.

I haven't really noticed but sometimes it varies by the most questions asked in a particular category(technically this is a SUB category)
