As I've stated before, We've has ants these past days. About three or four days ago Terminex came and sprayed extra potent stuff around the house, But couldn't spray on the inside in fear of too much chemicals. Well I just found alot of ants IN THE FREEZER of our refridgerator. There was like a pile dead, And a bunch crawling around the outside. My dad sprayed the majority and wiped them away. WTF?! Why were they in the freezer? I thought they were trying to GET AWAY from the cold? Any solutions to whats going on?

Wow in the freezor. I'm assuming you've tried over the counter ant spray inside your house. But this was told to me by an exterminator who said they use it in their chemicals, and I've tried it and it works great on fleas, roaches, ants and no telling what else. Get you some Dawn dish washing liquid and mix with water and spray that inside. Another great product is Bengal which I buy at Walmart. Ants will come inside more when it's cold. Spray along your baseboards and around any pipes that go through the floor and along the door threshold.

We sometimes get ants in the house during summer because my husband grows a lot of blackberries on our property. I think we attract them from miles around, but the blackberry preserves and pies in the Fall are great!

For a less toxic remedy, lightly boil 3 cups of water, 1 cup sugar, and 4 teaspoons powdered boric acid. You can buy boric acid at any pharmacy and many hardware stores. Then put it out in bottle caps where you think the ants will go. Cabinets and anywhere behind the scenes is ideal since you still want to keep this from children and pets.

Let the ants eat it and leave (to me, this was the hardest part). The ants will take it back to the nest where it will kill the entire colony, including the queen and larvae.

We used this is our house, and though it can take from a few days to week or two to work - we prefer it to more toxic chemicals. And, it gets the colonies off the property - not just out of the house!

Wow, sounds like suicidal ants! Lol. Honestly I have no idea what's going on with them but I'd be interested to see if anyone else has an answer for you.

we use a product called TERRO... it can be purchased in most hardware stores (our grocery store carries it) you just put a drop of it on a little corner of cardboard and hide it somewhere close to the ant activity. it works great and is low priced

clean the refrigerator out with very hot water and bleach. scrub deep. Might have a food leak somewhere maybe? Or sticky juice?
