this is dividing a polynomial by a binomial.

Factor your polynomial; you will see that (x+5) is one of the factors.

x² + 8x + 15 = (x+3)(x+5)

Therefore, (x²+8x+15) / (x+5) = (x+3)

(x^2 + 8x + 15)/(x + 5)
((x + 3)(x + 5))/(x + 5)
x + 3

ok this is easy
first use synthetic divisioin so its 1+8+15/-5. its confusing to understand online but the answer is x+3
