fa cup draw?

shouldnt their be seeding in the fa cup,like all the other cups,eg.euro,world,champs league,etc. so "little" clubs wouldnt miss out on "big" pay days,like four "little" teams are missing out this time,cos they cant play liverpool,arsenal,united or villa! you get my drift??

no offence to blackpool,but i bet aldershot or basingstoke would rather be playing liverpool or arsenal! i bet macclesfield are over the moon getting chelsea!

i understand your point...but i have never understood why small clubs say they want to draw a big club straight away! ( i understand the chairman and manager want a big pay day),but if i was a fan of a small club i would want to draw a small club in the third round,progress to the fourth round and then get a bigger team,so you get to play more matches,which is good for experience,more tv money,and maybe a little bit of glory as well!!

for example i'm a Spurs fan and whilst i was very pis*ed off to lose 4th place to arsenal last year in the premiership,i was happier for Spurs to play in the UEFA cup this year to gain some european experience,as we haven't been in europe for quite a while,i think we would've struggled in the champions league,whereas we have a reasonable chance to win the UEFA cup,or at least go quite a long way...so more experience and ulitimately,probably more cash..and then we'll be in a better position to play in champions league if we qualify this year(which is looking abit unlikely at the moment!!),but i would rather win the UEFA than get knocked out in first round of champions league!!

Personally I think ALL seeding in ALL competitions should be scrapped!!!! Why should England be seeded for the exploits of their team in the 1966 world cup for example????? If the draw was made without seeding we might even get to see one of the smaller teams/nations make the final and that would surely be better than just one big payday so that the so called bigger teams can set up a 'cricket' score!!!!!!!
